Outcasts
When I think of my life, I think of being an outcast. I think of being fun in high school because I was different. I think of being laughed at and not fitting in in culinary school. I think of being on my mission and not feeling a sense of belonging, even though I was around people who believed the same as me.
I think of two people traveling to pay taxes, one was very pregnant the other was her husband. I think of them looking for a place to have the baby, and there not being enough room at the Inn. I think of shepherds being afraid, and the angel saying, "Be not afraid." I think of the wisemen traveling far to see the Christ child.
I think of the perfect example of an outcast. He was mocked, scorned, beaten, and crucified. Being an outcast is okay because some of the best people on this earth have been outcasts. The important part of being an outcast is helping the other outcasts. I know that it is not always fun being an outcast. It is a lonely road; the trick is finding people to enjoy the journey of life with.
